Algarve Sampling inc is committed to a proactive health and safety program aimed at protecting our staff and yours, our clients, the general public, property, and the environment.

We are vitally interested in the health and safety of our workers. The employer, supervisor, and workers all share responsibility and will work together, to reduce the risk of injury and occupational disease. Algarve is ultimately responsible for workplace health and safety and will comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations requirements.

Safety Start with planning in mind, getting ahead of the potential threat, and mitigating it is all part of our plan for zero occupational injuries or illnesses.   

Examples are the following: 

1. Mandatory LMRA, PPE, Tailgate Talk, Situational awareness on-site, and hazard mitigations. 

2. Be familiar with the location of the fire extinguisher, Full St johns Ambulance Medical kit, and all Rigs of Algarve Sampling are equipped with both. 

3. Triple Check ALL locates, and confer with the Client on-site with any concerns. An Operator Should first start by understanding the needs and scope of work concerning the client, adjusting the Borehole to be augered concerning ground locate allowances. 

4. Drill rig function pre-check, tower up, and be sure of comfortability within our lane closure or work area. Lastly, all safety screens cover any moving parts such as augers and core barrels.
